Deborah Strum is the owner and director of Grandview Manor Care Center. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Wake Forest University and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Western Carolina University. She has served on the Board of Trustees of Western Carolina University and is currently on the board of The North Carolina Long Term Care Association. Her committment to delivering the finest service to the elderly is well documented. She is a leader in developing the caring home and quality service seniors deserve. She has built what many consider to be one of the finest homes and in-home personal care services in North Carolina.
Grandview Manor administration determined years ago that seniors deserved the best quality care that could be provided and they were instrumental in the very beginnings of the Certified Nursing Assistants Program. And as a matter of fact, the very first graduating classes program was held in the recreation room of Grandview Manor.
Deborah then saw the need for an affordable, locally owned in-home aide service; and she created Grandview Manor Assisted Living Services with offices across WNC.
Now Deborah and her staff are taking the home, Grandview Manor Care Center to the next level. A 16,000 square feet addition will allow the home to better serve seniors and their families with up to date quality care in a lovely and peaceful environment serviced by a well trained and professional staff of care givers.
